We currently operate under a system that emphasizes proper stroke technique as well as Middle Distance and Individual Medley training. What does this mean for your swimmer? Well, three things:
Your swimmer will receive stroke technique training that will evolve as your swimmer grows to ensure proper technique regardless of age.
Middle Distance training ensures that your swimmer will develop a solid aerobic and cardiovascular base. As a result, the swimmer is in better shape and has a strong foundation upon which to build a lasting swimming career.
Emphasis on the Individual Medley will help your swimmer become more well-rounded because it incorporates all four strokes. This makes the swimmer a greater asset to any program they may be involved with in the future.
Of course, results will vary from individual to individual. We make an effort to account for each swimmer’s unique ability and potential. (As a note of caution, please bear in mind that each swimmer develops at a different rate and ability levels vary widely.)
Swimming is different. Unlike land-based sports which incorporate everyday movements such as running, swimming lacks direct equivalent land-based movements. There is absolutely no substitute for consistency in attendance and coaching. We’re confident that our program produces results if swimmers attend consistently.
